Taking over the co-working calmness at the Swiss Game Hub in Zurich, Switzerland for the 8th & 9th October, we are reintroducing a game development focused international platform to connect the local and international scenes better.

The Swiss Game Hub is a non-profit association in Zurich, Switzerland, with the goal of improving the Swiss games industry.

Many things are happening in our halls and we are lucky to have grown to such a vibrant community space in the last few years.

We strongly believe that working under the same roof together with other like-minded individuals is the best way to learn and grow, both as an individual as well as a community. We offer affordable workspace options for individual developers, game studios as well as affordable options for professionals from other industries in our 2400 square meter space in Oerlikon.

The Swiss Game Hub (SGH) is committed to maintaining a professional, safe, and respectful environment for all members and visitors. This policy applies to the physical location, the Discord server, and all events organized by SGH.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves with professional courtesy. Individuals asked to cease specific behaviors are expected to comply immediately.

Prohibited Behavior

To ensure a safe environment, the following behaviors are prohibited:

Discrimination and Personal Attacks: Derogatory or offensive verbal comments regarding an individual's background, identity, personal characteristics, appearance, private life, or beliefs.

Disrespectful Communication: Deliberate refusal to address others respectfully or by their preferred name.

Unsolicited Content: Transmitting or displaying unsolicited sexually explicit or other mature content. Mature themes in a professional or gamedev context are permitted.

Unwanted Contact: Physical contact without consent or unwelcome sexual attention.

Aggressive Behavior: Threats of violence, intimidation, or encouraging self-harm or violence against others.

Harassment: Stalking, following, or persistent communication (one-on-one or public) after a request to stop.

Privacy Violations: Photographing or recording individuals against their stated wishes, or disclosing private personal information without consent.

Disruption: Sustained disruption of talks, events, or general operations.

Enforcement

SGH reserves the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of these standards. Our priority is to resolve issues constructively. However, SGH retains full authority to enforce these standards as necessary, up to and including immediate expulsion for severe or harmful misconduct.

Reporting a Violation

If you are affected by inappropriate behavior, or notice a situation that requires attention, please inform an event organizer, any SGH board member, or send us an email to conduct@swissgamehub.com. Reports will be handled confidentially and addressed promptly.
